How to have a Tough Conversation

“I hate having these types of conversations….”

This was the start of a mentoring role-play I had with someone outside of work not to long ago. She was nervous about a conversation she needed to have with a close friend about how her feelings were hurt by some recent events. I’d like to share with you some tips I have learned to make tough conversations less stressful and a growth opportunity.
